Due to changes in teams participating, schedules will be posted Thursday
Teams who drop from a tournament on Wednesday or later will be responsible for the entry fee

12U will play at Gator Park - 17701 Black Mud Road - Livingston, LA (Pool Schedule and bracket will be listed here - ALL TEAMS WILL BE LISTED UNDER 12U FOR THE POOL SCHEDULE)
SEPARATE BRACKETS FOR OPEN & C DIVISION - 12U C DIVISION BRACKET WILL BE POSTED AS 11U (IN ORDER TO BUILD 2 BRACKETS WITHIN THE SAME TOURNAMENT)

12U TEAMS (THAT I HAVE SPOKEN WITH) ARE PLAYING FRIDAY NIGHT - NOT ALL TEAMS

10U will play at LPR Johnny Sartwell Memorial Park -29405 South Range Road - Livingston, LA (and will be listed as a separate tournament with a link to the address) ALL GAMES WILL BE ON FIELD F WHICH IS AT THE BACK OF THE PARK - TEAMS AND FANS NEED TO ENTER THE PARK FROM THE BACK OF THE PARK - OFF OF MCLIN ROAD - TEAM CHECK-IN WILL BE UNDER THE PAVILLION AT FIELD F

14U will play at Patriots Park - 7500 Joor Road - Baton Rouge, LA (and will be listed as a separate tournament with a link to the address)

DUE TO THE CORONA VIRUS, THE LOCATION WILL BE CHANGED TO LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE AREA - SINCE WE MUST LIMIT THE NUMBER OR PEOPLE AT EACH PARK TO ADHERE TO SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES, AGE GROUPS MAY PLAY AT SEPARATE PARKS

COACHES AND PARENTS - PLEASE READ IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW

SELA (Southeast Louisiana Fastpitch) tournaments are resuming with the usual format - 
2 POOL GAMES AND DOUBLE ELIMINATION BRACKET
(Open & C Division teams will compete in separate brackets) - with limited changes, while following social distancing guidelines

RINGS FOR 1ST AND 2ND

We will follow all CDC as well as state & local guidelines and use common sense in practicing social distancing - KEEP 6  FEET FROM OTHERS NOT IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD

Anyone vulnerable to illness should stay safe by staying home.
Anyone showing signs of illness must stay home to keep others safe.

Everyone is encouraged to bring their own personal hand sanitizer and face mask.
There will be no bleacher seating, so spectators should bring their own chair.

TEAMS ARE TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN...

CLEANER TO SANITIZE THE BALL THROUGHOUT THE GAME AND DUGOUTS BEFORE AND AFTER EACH GAME
PERSONAL WATER COOLERS FOR PLAYERS AND COACHES - NO SHARED COOLERS

COACHES - PLEASE DESIGNATE 1 PERSON ONLY FROM YOUR TEAM TO LOOK AT THE BRACKET BOARD DISPLAYED AT THE TOURNAMENT - BRACKETS WILL ALSO BE UPDATED ONLINE FOR EVERYONE ELSE TO VIEW

1 COACH FROM EACH TEAM ONLY AT THE PRE-GAME MEETING

ALL DEFENSIVE COACHES WILL THROW BALLS IN AND OUT TO PREVENT TOO MANY PEOPLE FROM TOUCHING THE BALL...SANITIZING THE BALL THROUGHOUT THE GAME

IN ORDER TO SOCIAL DISTANCE, WE ARE UNABLE TO GATHER FOR PRAYER OR LINE UP TO SHAKE HANDS OR HIGH FIVE

CONCESSIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE, SO NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK IS ALLOWED IN THE PARKS.

Rule Clarifications & Modifications:
Pool Games: 		
Pool game matchups are pre-determined	
Pool games are 55 minutes, finish the batter
Pool games are practice, do NOT determine bracket seeding 
Pool games can end in a tie 	
Run Rule: 3 Runs per 1/2 inning in pool play (or # runs as agreed by coaches)

Bracket Games:		
Bracket game matchups are determined by blind draw at check-in 
Bracket games are 65 minutes, finish the inning - up to 5 innings
Bracket games cannot end in a tie ? International tiebreaker rule applies
Run Rule: 8 Runs after 3 Innings in bracket play

ALL GAMES (Pool & Bracket): 
Home/Away determined by a coin flip winner chooses  
except for the championship game, where the undefeated team is home
 If necessary games (played as an ITB) are also determined by a coin flip
Teams have 5 pitches or 1 minute after the last out is recorded to warm up 
The Home team is responsible for providing the official scorekeeper(s) 
Umpires will collect line-ups for all games (Pool & Bracket Games) 
On-deck batters are to remain on their team?s dugout side
Game time limits & number of pool games are subject to change when necessary (due to weather etc)
				
No Ice Chests - Outside food/drinks are not allowed in park

SMOKING (INCLUDING VAPOR) IN DESIGNATED AREAS ONLY & OUTSIDE OF THE PARK
